U.S. Representative Raúl M. Grijalva is currently serving his fourth term in Congress. He serves on the Education and Labor Committee and the Committee on Natural Resources, where he is a Chairman of the Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and Chair of the Education and Job Training Taskforce of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

Among his legislative agenda priorities is the Success in the Middle Act, which focuses on Middle schools as a means for high school and higher education success and Strengthening Kids' Interest in Learning and Libraries (SKILLs) Act, which will reauthorize an essential school library program and will ensure that more schools have highly qualified librarians and the resources they need.

His previous work in the Committee has helped to improve funding to Migrant and Seasonal Head Start, improve outreach and services to Limited English Proficient children and their families.
